My name is Josh and I am a 17 years old going into my senior year of high school at McClymonds. I have always had creative ideas, but only in the last three years found a way to express my creativity. I do this through making films. I have so far been involved in production of videos that are related to basketball, because that is my strongest passion, and favorite way of expressing creativity. I remember how films like Hoop Dreams, Glory Road, and Remember the Titian's inspired me, and hope to do that myself. Now I am working on a variety of projects with very different components. The Perfect Season This is the story of the McClymonds Warriors. A high school basketball team from West Oakland that resembles a family more than anything else. The man that holds this family together is Dwight Nathaniel, or better known as Coach Moe. He has endured many family tragedies in the last few years, but remained a mentor for all of his players through his final season, the perfect season. Only a year after losing in the state championship game, the team went undefeated, winning the school's first official state championship. Don't miss this exciting story of a special group of young men who persevered to achieve their goal of a state championship. The team was a perfect 32-0 in Coach Moe's 13th and final season, which he won the inevitable award of State Coach of the Year. Wen's World The story of Wendell McKines, a young man raised in Oakland who has fought through many struggles, so he could play basketball and have a chance of a better life for himself and his family. He was the best player in northern California while in high school, but is now trying to prove himself in college, so he can have a chance at his life long dream of playing in the NBA. Troy Boy This is the story of one of my best friends Troy. He was first diagnosed with cancer going into freshman year, and had to get his left arm amputated within a few months. He has survived many other medical problems and is considered a medical miracle since all of his doctors didn't think he would make it through high school, but he did. This story will inspire everyone to be thankful for what they have and to always have hope, because sometimes that's all you have. Coming 2009 |

My Life This is the story of my life, even though i am young i have been in a lot of situations that matured me into the person i am today. I reenact many of the most influential events in my life, and make conclusions about how they effected me, and reflect of the result. This will be a very entertaining film that will make you think deeply. I have always though about the big questions like, why are we here? I will incorporate many theories i have about these questions, without just thinking scientifically. If you ever wondered if their is a god? Or why we are here?
